My swelling has gone way down. I have stopped using my cg for a week now. So far so good, no swelling even after a 12 hour shift. That's prolly why I'm scared to work out coz now that everything is looking good I don't wanna go downhill again. But i think you're right, I might start with light weights first then work my way up. Then maybe if I don't swell, I can step on the elliptical and do baby steps. Thanks again!! :)
Hi MM, I'm almost 8wks po this thursday and I haven't worked out yet, although my ps cleared me to do anything already. I wanna ask how did you start your work out and how did it feel? I don't go to the gym but i have elliptical at home and some weights. I used to do dvd workouts at home, mostly bootcamp and core. Do you think that will be too much as for right now? Sorry too many questions. :) Thanks!!!
Thanks!!:) I only have minimal swelling from surgery to date.. per my PS. I was 113lbs pre-op and now Im down to 106lbs. As for my BB, it looked like a slit the first 2 weeks coz of the swelling. But now that my tummy is more relax, it's opening up again. I didn't touch it till PS removed the sutures (6th day PO). I used to roll up a gauze and placed it inside the BB to keep it open, that was on my 2nd-3rd wk. Also I only used my binder the first week, after that i just use my CG. I was worried with my result too, especially the first 3 weeks. But this site helped me a lot. Just be extra patient for now and in a couple of weeks you'll get to enjoy your new body. :)
