I totally agree with everything you have said. I had 5 IPL treatments on my face for brown spots and red veins. It was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. But I put up with it because I thought my skin would improve. Instead after 6 months, my skin still has brown spots, the veins are worse. I have lost my lovely fat cheeks. I am 64 years old, and was always complimented by my wrinkle fee skin. Now I have wrinkles down both side of my face and around my eye area. I have photo aged 10 years. I would never recommend IPL to anyone. My complexion has changed it is now a muddy color and my skin is very lumpy. This treatment was in a Beauty Spa in Christchurch, New Zealand. The machine used was a Quantum. My rating would be 1.
