Scar therapy making scar darker?

My surgery was only 2-3 hours..didn't have a problem. Was tired for the 1st week, but that's normal. I am 41/2 months out and feel great.. Not to much swelling anymore. Scar is flat and starting to get lighter. I have zero regrets about surgery, very happy. Good luck!!!

I know what you mean!! I will pull my shirt up and expect to see my old fat belly!! It feels like its still there! Thought I was crazy glad someone else has that too!! I am 12 weeks po and around 10 weeks started to feel like my stomach is heavy and full, thought it was from working out so I stopped a week and its still happening. Not really painful just uncomfortable. I think it's maybe nerves reattaching? Have a PS appt in a few weeks will ask then.

I am in Wilmington De ... Had a tummy tuck with J Saunders in Oct.. Very happy, I know a lot of people go out of the country and have great results so I am not knocking them. I just worry about follow up, I had a sernoma at 16 days that had to be drained, I believe most people are home at that point when they travel aboard. What would happen if your home and have a issue? Maybe I am just a worrier! Good luck to you, whatever you decide. :)

I did not have a pain pump and was never offered one. In hind site wish I would have looked in to it!

You have to do what feels right to you! Dr Saunders does do lipo in the flanks as part of tummy tuck. If you need more then that then you should discuss that with him. Again go with your gut, I am not trying to talk you into Dr Saunders. I was very happy with him, but I agree he does not tell you what you need. He just talks to you about what you want. In some ways I like that because he is not pointing out all your issues. Some Dr's make you feel horrible after they are done critiquing you. I mean I went in for a tummy tuck and your telling me I need 4 other procedures to be perfect! I don't really like when Dr's make you feel more insecure. You need to go with the dr that make you feel the most comfortable, and you have the most confidence in! Good luck with your decision.
