I have told so many people, it isn't even funny! When asked why I would be out for 4 weeks I had no issues telling them, and actually I was shocked to find out so many people has someone close to them go through the surgery. It was nice to hear and I never heard anything negative. I stressed that they caused back and neck pain and it wasn't just a cosmetic thing. As for people noticing afterwards (the few I didn't tell), I haven't had that happen yet. I am overweight and having my BR just makes me look fatter that I was before, LOL.
I wish I could say I never doubted my decision! I know in the long run I will be happy I had my BR, but I will admit that I have had a couple BIG break downs where I wished I never did this. I am 5 weeks 2 days PO and I know I would still have many weeks of recovery to go if there were no complications. But knowing that these complications have added extra weeks onto that recovery time gets me some days. I don't want to scare women reading these posts before their surgery, and that is why I haven't posted a ton since my issues started, but you are right that they need to know about these technical difficulties that some of us have!
Thanks, I will find out next week if things are healing the way they should be or not. I don't think anything has gotten worse, but who knows.....LOL Glad to hear your separations are getting better! Mine itch like crazy and everybody tells me that is a sign they are healing. I sure hope so!
Please don't freak out! I am doing OK right now. I go in for a check up next week, but I think he is just going to tell me to keep doing what I am. I am still having pain, but I am not sure if it is normal pain or what. I need to take pictures of the separation tomorrow to compare, but I think it is looking better.
Today is day 3 for me at work and I had to bring my pain pills with me today. I forgot yesterday and was in so much pain even with taking 4 ibuprofen during my shift.
