I was never sick. Absolutely no problem. Let your anesthesiologist know you are worried about that and they will give you med prior to waking to prevent nausea.
That's my Snickers! And, yes, a mini schnauzer and the love of my life. He has been great company for me, as I have been empty nested for years! He is 3 years old and I have smiled every day since I got him, and I can't say I did before that!
My pain was actually from one of my drains, It was against a nerve or something. Sharp little pains, literally! Once they came out, no problem! Also, had trouble sleeping on my back as I sleep on my side. Finally after about three days of tossing and turning, I bought some Tylenol PM. Worked miracles ! You know how the commercial implies we have these "pains" that keep us from sleeping? Well, in this case it was true. The first night I took it I slept like a baby!
Poor dog! Falling in the pool! My Snickers jumped in our pool in May when he was a puppy and hasn't done so since! Too cold :). You have a lot to deal with right now. One thing at a time..............
