Thank you, yes be very easy on yourself!! The cast off is major relief, i think i counted the hours. The next milestone is peoples reaction, it is hard for people to not stare and some friends had trouble keeping eye contact but they do get used to the new you and you will too.Thank God for this site, I was filled with anxiety and logged on and read someones story who was a week out with my doctor and just knew I was doing the right thing.

You look great, loved your story. Dr. Elam did my nose in January and I just LOVE it, its so natural and I know I really chose the best surgeon ever!!

Nose hurts more....dont notice the chin to be honest. My recommendation on that is to get a comfy compression garmet u can live with...mine has rubber and gets caught in my hair and hurts and gets irritating. You have to wear the compression 24/7.

I think it will drop a bit. Ive read a lot about ppl feeling it is "pig"like at beginning. It doesnt appear u needed anything done and the end result just looks like swollen version of what you had so I would agree once the swelling goes down all will fall into place. So sorry you are having hard time,hang in there.

Im 6 days post op and like most of us, went through all the ups and downs. Ive had other plastic surgery and my nose was not next on the list but I found my doc on this site, he had great reviews and a rhinoplasty special and fell in love with him at consultation. My final rollercoaster happened few mornings before surgery, so I went to real self of course and a girl had just posted her story, was 4-5 days post op and done by my doc.....it was like the clouds seperated,monks began singing, and excitement set in!!! I had the chin lipo too and it ws great addition....good luck and keep reading and asking questions....you are going to be great!!!
