@thehandymama - thanks, that's reassuring. Now I'm at 18 days and feeling a little more normal. It was pretty alarming at first, though, like taking off the training wheels so to speak.

Day 15 post op today! I took off the tape yesterday, per my PS's instructions. Boy am I sore today! I was feeling great with the tape. My incisions still look good, but I'm wondering if anybody else felt a little more tender after tape removal.

Holy cow, Mistonia - that IS a lot of boob. I'm sure you'll feel a great weight off your shoulders (literally and figuratively) once you're all healed up. Glad to hear you're doing better. My surgery was on the same day and I feel pretty good, all things considered. I just keep telling myself that by this time in Jan./Feb. the discomfort will be a distant memory.
