I've had Botox for 2 years and the neck pain happened only once - the last time. In fact it was the only side effect that I had in 2 years. Thankfully, mercifully, the severe neck pain subsided in about 4 weeks, I am in the 5th week since I had them and now am left with neck stiffness which will also subside eventually. When the person administering them goes too low down on the forehead the eyebrows do "freeze" in place. Mine did the same on one side last time so my eyebrows look lopsided....real nice. Tell them next time not to administer them on your forehead going below your hairline and you will be fine. I am going to thell the doctor not to do them down my neck and you should do the same. When I called him about my neck symptoms, he told me on the phone this type of reaction occurs in about 9% of people who get Botox in the neck and it might not happen everytime. Still, I am going to ask him not to go down my neck. Like I said, in 2 years I never had a symptom with Botox injections until this new doctor decided to do the newly recommended 30 shot site injections and went down my neck. My chronic migraines without Botox are CHRONIC, as in 25 out of 30 days a month, easily. Botox has saved my life and career. Good luck with it and hang in there. It will improve.
