I just had my 11 year old implants removed. Doctor after doctor repeated to me the exact (often word-for-word) argument that there has been no evidence of a causal relationship between breast implants and autoimmune disease, but several of those very same doctors admitted to having seen some very ill women get better after explantation. My health was deteriorating and I couldn't take any chances. I am happy as heck to report that just one month after "en bloc" explantation, I am already starting to feel like a vibrant, healthy woman again. Despite what all the doctors say (and remember, they're making a ton of money implanting, explanting, lifting and revising), you are smart to not ignore what thousands of women are saying... Oh, and the shell of saline implants are made of the same silicone that silicone implants are made of. Either way, you are putting the same silicone into your body.
