I had my brows done in Feb. 2012 and in May for my touch up. The technician told me this was a semi permanent procedure and that the color would disappear completely in 1-2 years. She is a friend of my neighbor. She clearly told me before the procedure it wasn't a tattoo it is micro pigmentation. After doing some research i am confused as to what the truth is. I contacted her again with some question and she stated the way she puts the pigments in they disappear within 2 years. Is this possible? Or is she not being honest? I read that a pigment is put in at 1-2 mm while tattoos 3mm deep so therefore it comes out of the skin. I've been reading all kind of information that says it just fades and you always have a mark there. If i use glycolic acids will the color turn lighter because it is too dark for me at this time. Can you please tell me your experience because I'm kind of going a little crazy over this.
