Mommy Makeover/16wks since makeover & 3wks since lasik w/pics:)....Houston, TX

1st off thanks! Yes it seems I have one of the lower tt scars I have seen on realself so I am thankful!! I can wear thongs & string bikinis & am able to hide it. To be honest my sister used Steely for her mini tuck & he was who I thought I'd go with but after dealing w/his staff,doing online consult & finding out he had 3 different nurses who did the consult not him & they all quoted a different amount,each increasing in cost(going from $12,500,15,000 to 16,800) it turned me off to dealing w/him or his office.So I began looking again & I loved Dr.P & his staff,he made me feel comfortable,they were nice,polite,eager to answer questions,because boy did I email Eva a longggg list of them,which they answered within 24hrs & sd send as many as I could think of to help me be sure of my decision....where as Steely's staff sd "oh u can just ask all those questions when u come in" Dr.P did online consult,gave quote himself & did free in person consult. I always deal w/him or Eva & have yet to have a complaint about their replies,return emails,calls,attitudes,etc. Very nice people in the office as a whole plus his friendly personality,his honest review of what he could do for my body & what he had to work with was appreciated. Dr P has even done his own mothers face lift so that's pretty impressive to me. He has over 20 yrs,many awards & has become president of the Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons! so he must be pretty good at his job lol. I did crindge when I found out the cost because it was $6,000 more than the highest quote from Steely but as my husband said in this sort of situation you might get what you pay for...you know...for example my sister wishes she would have had a full tuck instead of listening to Steely tell her she only needed a mini & now she is saving to go to Dr.P for a full tuck & boob job. Also this covers surgery center,aesthetic,2 garments,pre & post vitamin pack,recovery package w/gauze,pads & such,a nurse coming twice to visit you & help you the 1st wk of recovery if you stay in the houston area. We stayed at the candlewood suites less than a mile away the 1st wk. Dr P knocks you out for surgery & keeps you in recovery over night,then wants you to stay in the area at least the 1st wk to make sure everything goes well to where Steely did my sister's surgery w/her awake,only kept her 2 hrs in recovery & sent her on a 2hr ride home in crying pain! THAT was another turn off for me! I waited 7 yrs for this & studied many drs along the way & looked at a million pics to help decide but when I met Dr P my gut sd he was the one so all I can say is everyone has that gut feeling so go w/it & you should be fine. I ended up paying half & financing 1/2 w/carecredit & that worked out well for me. Good luck!!
