I'm glad my post helped! Sometimes it's nice to know your feelings aren't unique. It seems like we all went through a bit of the blues. The best advice I got was to let myself be sad, have a good cry and tomorrow is a better day. Your body went through a trauma and our emotions are all over the place. Hang in there! You have made a hugely positive change in your life and every day you'll feel better and better. Take care and enjoy the new girls!
Don't panic! I was just sore and uncomfortable. I could definitely put up with the soreness if I was experiencing back pain like you are. Sleeping on my back isn't nearly as uncomfortable for me as it is for you. Can you get on your side a little bit yet?
This is a long shot since it sounds like you've tried every pillow configuration known but here's something that worked for me. While on my back, I put a pillow lengthwise along my body and sort of laid half my body on the pillow and half on the bed. This tilted me so I wasn't flat but also wasn't on my side. Then, I propped pillows around my head and neck for support wherever I needed it. I had quite a nest built but it got me off my back. I feel terrible for you as I'm not a good sleeper either and it's just miserable.
