Nose is not swollen anymore, I have a follow up appointment next monday so hopefully.... everything is fine. I can feel a tiny bump on the beginning of the bridge but it isn't visable. It feels like bone but im not sure, it looks fab though so i am so happy with it.

Hello Marie, very sorry for the late reply, i've been away so haven't been able to well wish anyone. Oooooh I hope you're okay now that its been a few weeks. How do you feel? It is soooo strange after isn't it, but my swelling was incredible, it was hardly there apart from a little bit of bruising, I was very very lucky. I wouldn't worry too much about eating, I felt funny at first, kind of like my teeth were wobbly but I think thats just the anesthetic still existing in your body and making you feel generally under the weather. Don't worry about the size of the nose, it is still swollen and what with the cast on, it can appear bigger. When I had mine done, I wasn't even sure he changed anything and was so upset i'd paid ALL that money but when I had the cast taken off, I was mesmerised and couldn't be more happy. How are you feeling now?? Have you any piccies??? I'm glad you've got great support- it's so very important when you've had any operation, especially something so delicate and on your face. xxx

It has now been 3 weeks since my surgery and I feel great... It is quite strange how not many people have noticed too much of a difference even though there IS a big difference, I guess it really means that people don't focus too much on your nose and more of you as an overall. It is a very personal choice and having it done should only be done for you and nobody else. I haven't got used to it, or if I have I have just accepted it already and don't really think of it. It is still swollen and a bit lumpy around the side and the top but it is clear I no longer have a bump. The tip is still quite big I think, bigger than I wanted but am hoping that because it still feels quite hard that it is because that is the swelling.
