Lourdes, I have the same exact circle around my BB! I hate it. I thought the whole point was the scar was supposed to be on the inside so no one would know! Instead I have a darkened circle. I'm not even concerned about my TT scar because it least I can hide it. We're going to Cozumel in 6 weeks with friends and I don't know what I'm going to do to hide the scar.
That's interesting 2013. I couldn't use Mepitac either, it made me itch like crazy! I'm using Scar Away strips and BioCorneum too. I hate my BB though, it's so red. My TT scar looks much better than my BB.
Don't worry Panda, they will subside. Mine began at 4 weeks post op and I had one somewhat large opening that continued to spit them until about 2 weeks ago (I'm 16 weeks po). It's finally scabbed and the scab came off prematurely because of the spot it's in. The second scab is on it now and I think it will be totally healed within a week or so. Then I had a smaller opening about an inch away from that one that continued to spit stitches that completely healed about a week ago. In total the nurse and I have pulled out somewhere between 12-16 pieces of stitch! Yuck! It looked really bad to the point my PS was suggesting revising that area (in the office e procedure, about a 3 inch long area) but I opted to let it heal on its own. It does go away, it just looks horrendous when it's happening. Keep your head up. :)
Wildberry, I knew a woman who had spitting stitches all the way up to 5 months out. She had the same dr as me and had super super sensitive skin. I didn't realize pre surgery that could happen!
