My PS won't do the surgery unless I quit completely. I smoke between 2 - 5 cigs per day. I go ALL DAY without one, but the minute I get home, the "habit" kicks right in!!
I don't know what to do!!! I want the surgery, but I'm finding it impossible to quit completely. I had Breast Cancer and a lumpectomy back in 2005, and I healed beautifully from that surgery....and yes, I continued to smoke. My oncologist thought I had enough on my plate without having to try to quit at that time.
