I havent had any problems with staining. But if you drank coffee with them in they would definitely smell after, I take them out when i have my coffee.. If you drink red wine with them in you will get wine between your teeth and the plastic and your teeth will look red :( I do occasionally drink with them in at home so no one has to look at my red teeth, and so far my alligners have stayed clear as long as i clean them everyday

Your provider should have definitely shown you the simulation video of your teeth movement, which also shows where attachments will be. I believe that the invisalign company sends your ortho/dentist different options. My ortho thought i would need to get teeth pulled but was given an option where we could just file. I dont think invisalign will send you new trays for free though. :(

I think a good ortho/dentist should bring this up with you prior to any treatment

your teeth feeling "clausterphobic" is a great description. That went away for me after 3-4 days. No one notices them in. My boyfriend is always offering me food because he cant tell the difference when they are in or out. I also have visited a few friends that I have not seen or told that I got them.. they had no clue. Definitely do not take them out if they are hurting in the beginning..The only way to get your teeth to adjust and stop hurting is to leave them in for an extended period of time. I would definitely recommend changing to a new alligner right before you go to bed.. so they are on for a long time and your teeth have time to adjust. Your teeth are sore for a lot shorter period of time when you do it that way. good luck!!
