I had Smart Lipo on Upper and Lower Abs almost 2 weeks ago. I also just noticed a hardness in the 'pooch' area, it only appeared about 2 days ago. I'm satisfied with my results provided this is merely temporary and that there's something I can do to get rid of it.
As far as regarding the covering of your eyes... it's because of the laser use. My doctor and two nurses had goggles on to protect their eyes, and they had me wear them as well.
