    i feel like my muscles are sore too after my lift. how long did yours take to go away? i am just over 1 week post op and am afraid i have over exerted myself or torn something... how are you doing?

    Hi, for my surgery the doctor used both kinds of stitches. I have dissolvable ones in most places but for the incision underneath she used stitches that need removed. As for the ointments, she never mentioned that I needed them. She asked me to use a saline solution to clean it everyday and said I needed to keep it dry (and that included sponge baths until the leakage stopped). When I go back in this week I want to ask about ointment, maybe that will help with scarring and healing. How long ago did you get your surgery?

    hey everyone, i just had a breast lift last week and get my stitches out soon. i have had stitches in the past (not for plastic surgery) and every one of them has come open! i am worried this will happen again as soon as my stitches under the breast come out. is there anything you would recommend to prevent a wound or an opening? currently i am not using any ointments, just keeping the incisions dry and keeping them protected with gauze after cleaning them once a day. thanks!
