Carole Maggio - you can go onto her website facercise.com - I have her book that my mum gave me about 15 years ago but only started the exercises 18 months ago after I became disillusioned with the results I was getting with face fillers. I can see a definite improvement, my face has filled out, the lines around my mouth and on my jawline have diminished considerably. Ok it's not going to give your face the no wrinkle look that you can get with fillers and botox but it's natural, it's free and you really will notice a difference if you stick to the routine daily. I know there are a few different facial exercise programs on the net but this one works for me and I spend maxi 10 minutes a day doing it. I paid $1,000 (twice what I was originally led to believe it would cost me) for someone to botch up my under eyes - that's why I'm thinking twice about paying someone to try and rectify it. I have to say the facial exercises haven't help diminish the bumps under my eyes but my face certainly has a more youthful and perky look about it and I regularly get comments about not looking my age - at the end of the day it's easy to try out and its FREE.

hi myfaze, yes I've been looking on the internet and it would appear so, however I have come across stories of people who have had too much injected to dissolve the restylane and it has left a hollow, so I'm a bit nervous at this too - will need to consult my PS here and raise these issues. I'm just sorry I ever did this in the first place - since this episode I have stopped all facial treatments and have resorted to daily facial exercises and I am very happy with the results.

just checked, actually it's been 28 months since I had the restylane injected. I'm going to make an appointment with the PS that did my bust reduction and try and rectify the problem - what I don't understand is that after 28 months I have seen no reduction in the bumps...

Hi, was interested to read your post. I had restylane put in 36 months ago, the doctor who put mine in suggested that my hollows were too deep to warrant putting in just the one dose and recommended a double dosage, unfortunately I went along with her recommendation. 36 months on I still have the same large lump under one eye, there is a slightly less of a lump under the other eye - but I can say after 36 months neither bump has gone down at all. I have now had to resign myself to the fact that I will need to visit another doctor to get it taken out. Even if it means a cut, a small scar would be preferable to walking around with what looks like under eye puffiness. I wear glasses quite a lot to try and disguise it. When I complained to the original doctor 2 months after the proceedure (not in my country of residence) they assured me that it would dissolve!
