Hi Westwind! Other than driving myself crazy about my breasts... I'm doing ok :-) The whole morning boob thing seems to be starting again, perhaps something to do with the cold winter that's started. My incisions are healing good. They are nicely closed, a bit redish, but not raised. My right one is not as long as the left, but feels quite lumpy under the skin when I applying the Cicatrix silicone gel. My PS just said that this gel is very expensive & there is no scientific proof that it will have any effect, but stated that it won't do any harm either. He's pretty much 'old school'.
I went with 360cc on both sides, as I didn't foresee that asymmetry after the op would be such a big deal. I should have paid a bit more attention to this. But what's done is done. My reason for the choice of implant was much based on recommendation of my PS after assessing my Pre-op anotamy. I was looking long term, wanting a very natural look & un eventful healing process. I must admit, I find myself wondering what round implants would have done for me, but don't regret my teardrops! They feel great! Soft, but nice and firmly in place!
I'm now just hoping @ praying that my right breast drops into a more favourable position.
How are you holding up?
WoW-Wee you have reason to be trilled with your outcome! Congrats!
I think I should perhaps do what my PS have been telling me & that is to wait, it's just so darn hard not to constantly faf about what they look like. But seeing now what that has done for you, gives me faith that things will turn out ok.
Congrats again & enjoy!
The first few days are by far the worst! Don't be brave & not take the pain meds. Drink them religiously so that you can manage the discomfort, rather than the pain. I used the old fashioned warm water bottle for my sore, stiff neck & back. My PS also had me streatching my arms out & over my head from 1 day post op. It really helped the muscles to be not so stiff.
