Second Hand Chances Worth Taking? - Houston, TX

I never had the neck pain but did have some burning shoulder pain extending from the base of my neck. After 3 months, the residual I have left is that when I close my eyes my left eye does not completely close. Or when I smile it stays slightly open wider than my right. My reaction immediately after had been my eyebrows lifted and my eyes were wide opened. I actually posted a pic. Things are much better now but I declined to get the injections again for migraines. I did enjoy 2 months without headaches but at a high price.

More bad news: Well a few days ago, 1 week after receiving my injections for severe migraines I am experiencing left sided facial weakness. Droopy right eyelid is improved but only because I am on steroids after I saw my neurologist. I reported some numbness on my tongue and worried I might have had a stroke. My doctor believes I now have Bell's Palsy. We don't know if there is a correlation to the injections or just something that happened. My neurologist is researching the occurence and stated she gave me the minimal dose required. We are not 100% sure why this has happened.

I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience too. Look forward to hearing form some of you.

No tight exactly but it is most definitely raised and now it seems both eyebrows are raised more than normal and my right eye is still droopy and feels heavy.

Sparkyschick are you back to your normal self now? I am praying I don't get the symptoms worse than what I already have on my eyelids and eyebrows.

How long did it take for the mephesto sign to resolve? I have it in my left eyebrow but it went back to normal for about 12 hrs then it's up again. Does anyone know if their neck pain is immediately after the shots or weeks later? I don't have the pain and got my shots 4 days ago and am afraid if it will happen as well as the droopy eyelid on my right eye. I know I won't do this again I'd rather deal with the headaches.
