The doctor I spoke with charges $500 per area for each appointment. He recommends 4 appointments total. So it could get pretty expensive. Did everything cost $500 total? What a deal! I would love to get my stomach, arms, and breasts done. I think it might cost about $4,000.
I'm not sure. Mine might be covered by insurance because I gained the weight due to medication. I have to figure out about who will look after me when I am all dopey and recovering. My mom said that she would, but i'm not completely sure that is going to work... she isn't the worlds best caretaker. i have to think about it. plus she said she wouldn't come to my house, i would have to stay at her house, and the tv is on the bottom story and the kitchen is on the top story...
it's more the embarassment of folds of loose skin showing if my shirt lifts up... i went to a consultation... now i have to figure out if insurance will pay for it... and figure out what i'm going to do about recovery period. i'm not sure what most women do, i guess most women have husbands who look after them, for me i will probably stay with my mom which means moving out of my house for a few weeks... and i'm not sure i want to deal with the stress of living in a strange house while also dealing with post surgery stuff... basically i'm just feeling really stressed right now!!
when i first started reading your review i thought your core was off AFTER the surgery but now i realize it is due to pregnancy. i hope the surgery helps! (i think they can tighten it up...)
I am also a dancer, I do lots of salsa (amateur level)... I am worried about the recovery process after the surgery but i guess it is true that probably having the surgery will make my body tighter and easier to move? I did not go through pregnancy so i don't have that to deal with, just lots of loose skin from weight loss.
I'm not a mom but I too have lost 100 lbs (which i gained very rapidly due to medication, and thus have lots of stretch marks causing wrinkly skin)
I'm worried about getting the breast lift (breasts are so wrinkly and saggy... it's embarrasing in yoga) because what if i DO have kids later ? (i'm only 31) and i can't breast feed??
