did you try out any other doctors? i posted a comment about medpor on my profile you'll see a bunch of doctors respond to it in a negative way but when i called dr. rizk he said he thinks medpor is better than silicone

i feel like taking any money from your kids' college fund is not really worth it for a nose job

Hey julieburn, my total surgery comes out to 16k, minus the $300 consultation it is 15,700. This all includes facility and anesthesia fees. I remember calling in the middle of July to schedule the appointment and I was seen on September 4th. They had an appointment in August but I was going away on vacation so I couldn't take it sooner. I actually was not concerned in a bad way but impressed by his office and their professionalism. Obviously the price is high, but I think it may be worth it. He told me that with my nose (bulbous tip, thick skin) I would need a medpor implant. After he told me this, I started researching medpor and saw from the research the best option would be to use my own cartilage. SO I called his office yesterday to speak with him but he was in surgery. He called me back within the hour and told me that he prefers medpor because it is safer than silicon, which some other doctors use. He also said that he would only use medpor if he found during surgery that i didn't have enough of my own tissue he could use. Obviously, this is all a "taking of chance" type of thing because the only way to know is to undergo surgery. okay sorry for this long post, just wanted to put what i know so far out there!

i went to Dr. Rizk yesterday for my consultation. I feel really confident in him but will need to save up the $ for the surgery. he's seriously a really smart guy. Can't wait to see your pics swimgirl!
