She's quite a beautiful woman. I wish I could have such a flawless face!

Maybe you should be clearer about what you mean by your claims of natural proportion. You're right, enhancing your lips to take up the entire space between your nose and chin is NOT proportional. But what about ladies like me? I've been accused since MIDDLE SCHOOL of having had a boob job. My guy friends jokingly call me "tits on heels" because my breasts are abnormally large on my small frame, with a bottom that is also nearly abnormally small if I'm not at a BMI of 18 or lower. On the surface, discussing my want for smaller breasts and buttock implants with fat grafting to people who don't know me, they think I'm crazy and going "too extreme" with my re-proportioning. But until they know me and my exact goals, they don't know what's extreme and what's not. In this woman's case, there is definitely some BDD and self-esteem issues, but that doesn't make it okay to make sure broad statements.

I'm beginning to think that we may need to give up, ladies. It doesn't look like she's coming back...

There are lots of models from various ethnicities and different shapes. If you are seriously upset by the issue of skinny white models, maybe you should patronize labels, magazines, etc, that use models who aren't size 00 white girls. Businesses follow where the money goes, not approval ratings. As long as it doesn't result in legal issues, they don't care how you FEEL about the product if you're still buying it. I do somewhat support your idea for having evaluations done before PS though. Women who have issues with BDD, addictive personalities, severe bipolar disorder, etc, definitely should not be taking chances with ruining their bank accounts and bodies with plastic surgery. Just because some of us can see our bodies for what they really are and give serious thought to changes made to our bodies (I never get a tattoo or piercing without thinking it over for AT LEAST six months before going through with it) doesn't mean every woman can.

Unfortunately, the only way they can edit it is by removing the quote altogether. It was a quote because it was what the person being interviewed said, not what the editor thinks.
