Sooo Happy I Made This Decision and Its All Done! - Middletown, NY

Hey NewMe I just wanted to let you know that I am 13 days post op and I still have a little bit on numbness on both breasts and on one nipple and the last time I saw my PS he said this is completely normal. Also my doc never said yes or no to heat or ice but I used both. I find that the heat is better for me now, its a nice relief for my sore, stiff muscles. Just be careful especially since you are numb to pay close attention. You dont want to get burned or frost burn from the ice.

Ive tried everything and its hit and miss. The nurse at my PS office suggested a rolled towel in between my chest to support the top boob. This helps a little. I did sleep a few nights on my sides but the other times I'm uncomfortable within the first 30 seconds. I think I'm starting to get impatient with recovery and just want to be back to my normal self or atleast my normal sleep.

Hey darlinggirl, I'm not sure of my bra size. I havent bought any bras since I cant wear them yet but I did try a 36 c and it was too small so I'm sure you will be above a DD with 650ccs. I will say that even 575cc doesnt look that big under clothes but they look huge with out any.

Im about 5'6 and 170lbs but I was 165lbs before surgery =( lol. Thanks all!

So we have very similar stats. My surgery is the 6th, I'm hopefully doing 550cc filled to 570cc. My surgeon said since I liked the 550cc sizers he would go up to 570ccs since it will be slightly smaller when placed under the muscle. I am also 5'6 but I'm about 165lbs (tho I feel i look a lot heavier then you). Good luck with everything, cant wait to read up on your progress in a few days since our dates are so close.
