I am so happy for you! This surgery has been a life changing experience. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to hearing your story as well. My favorite perk of the surgery...I take off my bra and my boobs are in the same spot....no more sonic bomb when they are released!

I am 5 weeks out. Everything is healed over and looking pretty darn good. I still have swelling in my lefty but has has gone down some. It actually has a little wiggle and jiggle finally. They are settling nicely and I am positive I am a 36C. Today is the first day that I didn't notice my boobs, I mean, there was no pain at all so far. I finally feel like I have turned the corner :-). I also wore an underwires bra today with absolutely no problem. I think it was more comfortable than a sports bra. I still don't have any sensation in my left nipple, however at my last dr appointment, he reassured me that it was normal.

Oh and a note about sports bras, I couldn't use them until this week (week 4) because it just wasn't comfortable to me. I had bought 3 surgical bras and I worn them exclusively until about 3 days ago.

You look great! We both made it to week 4! My pain is very minimal, and like you only bothers me at the end of the day. Your scars will get better under your arms when you start massaging them. I have already in that area. Weird it made little pop sounds when I did it, but some of the bumpiness went away, I'm thinking its the stitches giving way. The scar smoothed out nicely :-) You aren't alone, I also have a couple things I hoped would have turned out better. One of my nipples is larger and different shaped than the other, that is the most disappointing thing so far. My husband finds NO faults with my new boobs :-) You are right it is the nature of women to find fault in themselves. I am totally happy to have much smaller, very perky, cute little boobies! I would go through it again if I had to...not anytime soon mind you lol...
