So Nervous and Even More Excited! - The Woodlands, TX

Hi Mommyof3.... I am guessing you are here in the Humble area..... I am in Atascocita.... what a small world! I just saw where you posted to someone else's review about a Houston Dr. and your name caught my attention. I had my mommy makeover Sept. 10th and am loving my results.... but of course, really excited about the results in a another month or two.

Hi Timarie... I see you are looking at Dr's in the Houston area. I had a breast lift, tt, lipo of flanks and thighs with Dr. McHugh. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!!!! I had actually decided on another Dr. before going to see Dr. McHugh.... my bio-identical hormone Dr. had recommended him.... but after reading online and seeing some negativity about him.... I was hesitant to go for a consult. After much thought... my DH and I decided we needed to go see him for ourselves and be the judge.... besides.. some of the reviews about him just seemed like it had to be someone who was jealous or something.... As soon as we left the appt. my hubby said .. no doubt.. we find the right Dr. --- He is one of the very few Dr's that I have ever seen who took the time, sat down and made sure he spent as much time as was needed. Dr. McHugh answered any and all questions even before we had a chance to ask them.... I am so pleased with his work as well as his bedside manner and his staff. They called on a daily basis for the first two weeks and go above and beyond what our expectations were/are. I saw him two times per week for the first 3 weeks and now still seeing him once a week.... I have the lymphatic drain therapy - that's done at his office -- with an amazing RN.... I just cant enough good things about Dr. McHugh, his wife Katherine, his nurse Ashley and the two front desk girls.. Maria and Rebekah. I feel like I have made friends for life. Best of luck to you on your decision.... I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I had surgery Sept. 10th and am LOVING the new me!!!!

You ladies will be fine...... I was soo nervous as well...but tonight...while the kids were gone, I tried on lingerie, swimsuits and other clothes I have hung on to for at least 10 years........ Still can't believe what I am seeing in the mirror.......LOVING it! And it's pretty fun to see the expression on my hubbies face every time I came out in something different! And 3kids.......you will be so happy to had the wax....that's the one thing I didn't think about...until the jungle appeared afterwards......... Think happy thoughts ladies........because before ya know it....you will be Hot, hot, hot!

Mom 2 5 --- you and I are thinking alike today. Kids were gone and hubby went to the gym so thought I would try on a few things.... plus friends always asking for new updated pics so they can see my progress.... so I put a swimsuit on from TEN YEARS ago.... yep... 10 years ago... now one of my friends asked what I was still doing with suits from that long ago... and I told her I never gave up on ME.... always determined to get back into it one day.... besides, we have a pool and I try have every size swim suit available for friends if the urge to swim hits us. One friend said I look 3 sizes smaller.... that was awesome to hear.. but I am not there by any means. So Ladies, when you need a pick me up... listen to Mom2five... get out a swimsuit or something sexy and try it on.... That suit put a huge smile on my face, I turned up the music and danced around the house.... even sent my DH a pic while he was working out :) Going to upload pics in a little while.... I am already loving the new me and so cannot wait to get further along in this marathon. Congrats Mom2five on the new you!!!

Hi Kelly, I see we were very close in surgery dates... I am just a little over 2 weeks post op..... also, I was about your size... just a little taller.... Tonight will be my first night in the bed... headaches so bad from sleeping in the recliner, PS said it was because my head was above my feet and not getting enough blood circulation. Best of luck to you... cant wait to see your post op pics. I am going to take more tomorrow since I just got tape off yesterday. My right breast has some areas that I am having to keep bandaged as well as mid incision on my TT and a red spot close to my left hip. All are normal according to PS... other than that, I think incisions look very good. I'm with you on being sore.. esp in my inner legs and flanks... due to the lipo. Hugs.
