So glad you are resting. I am a superwoman like you and was so hard to just sit still. It might take longer to heal as the younger ones. I am now 4 months post op and feeling good. I did go through a lot of swelling, lots of sensitivity, tons of itching and just yucky.
Let sweet hubby take care of you. I have one of those and was so blessed.
Later my surgeon raised his eyebows as to how long it would take for recovery...LOL
What is the tickle about. It does sound like local/tumescent lipo. I had that done 12 years ago but it hurt so much around my upper abs he had to stop. This time I had general and he removed 4000CC. My whole back, abs, hips. I have taken arnica both surgeries and it helps so much with bruising. The only thing you shouldnt take is aspirin and advil as it thins the blood. But follow you doctor advice always. I wore the compression garment for 3 months. The most important thing is your CG fits properly and usually the surgeon will recommend the type and size. I get very hot and claustrophobic so it was a huge test for me. I wanted to rip it off and I did and just laid on the bed but then wanted it back on..Crazy!!! Good luck...
You are amazing for doing this at your age...more power to you! Other people cant imagine doing it. My trainer, my best friend has no judgement but just cringes at the idea as she had a baby and has some lose skin that bugs her. I never told anyone this time only my hubby and trainer. Most people think we are crazy and why! But when you look in the mirror every single day and hate you body why not. I did that and now I look and say OMG.
It is major surgery and can be a slow process with swelling and tenderness. I had to wear my garment for 3 months cause it just felt good and I was too sensitive with anything touching my skin. Now 4 months still numb and tender on my back and under arms. He did my whole back up to my neck. So things are still healing. Then my Vajayjay was a horror show. Still kind of numb and a bit of swelling ...LOL
You didnt have much fat removed so your recovery should be quick...I had 4000CC removed and it has taken almost 4 months to working out again. But now I look in mirrors sometimes and the buddha belly is gone...Hopefully I never have to do this again...
You will look amazing when the swelling goes down. Remember advil is an anti inflammatory and after surgery you can take it. People are so proud they dont take pain killers but its about reducing inflammation. Just an idea.
Ouch ouch ouch...I look back now 4 months and I didnt have any TT but sure went through a lot of discomfort. So yes yes yes it is so worth it. At the time I went through depression thinking what did I do to my 61 year old body. But I am back working out with my trainer and for some crazy reason I am stronger than ever...Who would believe that!!
So good for you and it just takes time. We have amazing vehicles our body and if we go into surgery with good health and not overly overweight the results are amazing.
I look forward to more of your photos as it will only get better...yahooo!
