Hi I was in recliner for 5 days. I never felt that comfortable in recliner.... But the hassle of up and down out of bed kept me in the recliner. Once I had more movement, bed was my choice. or propped up with pillows on couch. The problem with bed is getting comfortable.
Hi! Love the excitement/nerves... Brings me back. It will all be great!
For drains, the nurse at the hospital pinned them to my binder. But I later used a name tag neck holder (langgard? Sp?) for showering.
I wore a regular shirt and stretchy pants to the hospital. I wore the same stretchy pants and a button down shirt for the ride home.... But I had a BR too.
I am a fan of the recliner in bedroom for quality recovery time. Then the family isn't tiptoeing badly around you either. So what you don't come down... You need to recover! Good luck this week!
Hi. Your reduction technique looks similar to mine in terms of stitching. Those dark spots around your nipple will peel away to light pink! I am loving mine as well.... Except some nagging leaking underneath. It seems maybe I move too much? Bra irritates as well. Happy healing!
Hi there! Good luck as you move through the process, My preop included meeting with the patient coordinator, getting the post op garments, paying, and meeting with the PS to ask question. I never undressed. They took pictures a my consult and evaluated me then.
I had a recliner and it was helpful to put in the master and keep from kids. Cough was too in the middle of activity. Also easy to get in and out of relatively. Some ladies like the toilet seat lift.. I didnt read about that until too late. I did t notice too much trouble. Used those muscles.... But def had to be careful and slow. All good questions to ask PS at preop appt.
I had stretch marks all over and now they are below bb and above incision. It is definitely better but not perfect.
