I would say at least a couple of months. Remember, I had hyperpigmentation pretty bad all around my mouth and chin. It's been almost 3 months now and that's gone. If I hadn't had the hyperpigmentation, probably about a month until the "pink" was nearly gone. For better results, my doctor went with pretty high settings.
Good luck.
Rest assured, it will get much better very quickly. It has been a month now and unfortunately, I have hyperpigmentation around my mouth and chin, which is slowly fading, but could take some time. Aside from that, my skin looks wonderful, the wrinkles were greatly diminished and there is some skin tightening. I am very happy with the results but wish my chin was back to normal. My doc went pretty deep, but it was worth the extra pain and hassle. Good luck...
