That's understandable, especially if you have any issues afterwards. I didn't have any problems but you do have to go there a few times the first week or two. Seeing my results though....I say it's worth the drive. Good luck!

My hysterectomy was a piece of cake to be honest! I have little to no discomfort from it. The TT portion of my surgery wasn't bad either. Of course if your having muscle repair as I did at the same time it does hurt to laugh, cough and god forbid sneeze that first week. Walking is difficult as your hunched over like a 90 year old and your lower back will kill. At the end of week 2 you will feel great. The most painful part for me was my lipo. My hips and back....ouch, that hurt a lot and for a while. I got pretty good bruising from my bra strap all the way down in to my butt cheeks. I didn't have a boob lift but from what I hear that's a little painful but overall compared to my hysterectomy this was a little more intense but SO worth it in the end! GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi, I just read your post. I live in Litchfield NH so I know what you mean about not many PS in our area. I however found an amazing one in Nashua. I HIGHLY recommend him. His name is Dr. Jeremy Waldman of Waldman Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. Just look at my profile pictures to see for yourself. I think the man in a surgery god. You can also check out his website, there is a link in my profile as well. I'm 6 weeks post op now and feel just as good as I did pre-surgery. I have no swelling at all, I'm surprised at the swelling I've seen from the other ladies that had their surgeries in September as I did. You know how you have this picture in your head of what you want your results to look like.......well my TT looks WAY better than I ever expected. I'm so excited! Congrats on your decision to make YOU feel good about yourself! Good luck! Dawn

Thanks! I'm not sure of the technical name for it but it's the tape that feels like paper. My ps gave me some at my 2 week appt then I picked up another roll at the dollar store of all places!! =)
