I am now 12 days out from a chin lift and lower face lift. Researched my Dr. and all parties said he was the best. Liked him a lot but hubby came to one interview and said it is all a sales pitch. Went thru with it and was totally swollen, like a freak, Lots of bruising even around my eye which was not touched. I had a bad blood pooling scab but he did not seem concerned just changes my antibiotic. My face feels so tight, can't open my mouth too wide. I have to sleep on my back because the stitches behind my ear are still in and they hurt if I lay on them. As a side sleeper this ads lack of sleep into the many problems. The cut under my chin is just one big scab. I feel sooo
depressed. At my one week office visit he took out some stitches and tried to ease my concerns but it didn't work. The scab on my one ear is very slowly chipping off but both my ears are a sick shade of green from bruising. I still look like a pulled pork . I should have read these comments first. Had I known it was going to be this bad I probably would not have done it. But then again most PS will never tell you about the recoupe
I was told 10days and I would be out. No way! I am sure it will be about 3 weeks before I don't scare people in public. The only hope I have is that the Dr. is as good as all said he was and the final result will be natural.
