Thanks Valleyview. I actually did some research on the Lingual braces at the start of all this. Since there were only a few providers, I decided to go with Invisalign. Unfortunately, I chose a very upscale cosmetic dentist that advertises the service instead of researching orthodondists (mistakenly thinking that a doctor advertising a treatment would surely be skilled!).

The first provider acted completely unprofessionally and I did successfully pursue settlement.

Thanks for sharing your story. I am scheduled for surgery in the next few weeks (also live in Toronto) but am feeling a lot of fear. Can I ask if you are still happy with the outcome? Would you go through with it again? thanks.

I have to say I experienced no pain whatsoever-obviously a slight poke when the needle went in but no pain beyond that.
