I was as gluten-free for months before I got Botox and restylane. I think that's why my symptoms went away after a few weeks, thank God. But I will not get injections again.

It has been 8 days since I first posted and I am feeling 80% better. I think one of the reasons may be that I am gluten-free. The initial headache is gone. I use imitrex for migraines, so I used it to treat the "botox headache" also. I eat a very healthy, mostly organic diet, and I drink coconut water throughout the day. The extreme vertigo has de-escalated into mild vertigo and the exhaustion, fatigue and weakness are not nearly as bad. I sometimes use 5 or 10 mg of adderall for another condition, and that has helped me through also, although I was careful not to use the adderall so quickly after the botox, because I was to induce another chemical reaction. Please do not take any action with medications without first consulting a physician, osteopath, or other qualified professional. I am treated by an internist, a psychopharmacologist and a doctor of biochemistry. The plastic surgeon prescribed a small dosage steroid pack, but I declined unless it had become the only, last resort, after a considerable period. Good luck to all.

    Hi Meredith
    Have you recovered?
    I hope so.

Thanks Jarbs. I've been looking for stories about how long it takes to go away.

I had a headache for two days, so I took an imitrex, which I take for migraines, and it went away.
