I have had Dysport shots for PHN and migraine headaches for almost 2 years!
I have also been taking Neurontin for 10 years for PHN. The DYSPORT has been a miracle ; after feeling suicidal for many years on and off from constant head aches and being seen and Yale , neurologists and pain management centers, my eye surgeon tried the Dysport and i have had total almost 99% pain free from PHN from the shingles. I consider it a miracle for me. I still take Neurontin if the migraines are totally out of control to settle down the attacks. I will be seen in Yale Headache clinic soon. I have paid out of the pocket for something that should be covered I believe to treat a debilitating condition that almost cost my life for many years of chronic suffering. My eye doctor gave me the shots to see if it would work.... and it did. I don't know why other doctors never even mentioned there was help for me.... I finally found my eye doctor who was willing to help me after 20 years!
