After about 6 months the red marks from the blisters finally disappeared but it was a long six months trying to cover the marks with make up. The burns and blisters eventually healed but the Affirm did little in the long run to improve my skin/wrinkles. I now feel it was a waste of money and I would not be able to recommend it to anyone.
I have had three Affirm treatments. All of them were painful and the third left me with burns, blisters and bruises that are still not healed. I would not recommend Affirm to anyone.
Thank you for your reply. I had made an appointment for the Restore but cancelled it after lengthy research and reading your post and others on this site. I am considering the Affirm multifractional laser. It appears to have far fewer side effects, less down time, less pain and is just as effective. I am really sorry that the Restore treatment has had such a negative result for you. I appeciate very much your willingness to share your experience, possibly preventing others from enduring what you have.
Do you know what type of fraxel laser was used on your face? Renew, Restore, Repair? Or was this laser manufactured by some other company? Was this an ablative or non-abaltive laser? Thanks!!!
