feeling pretty good. I post some pics today. I still have lots of stretch marks and the scar is ugly. I just got the tape off yesterday. But the doc removed 8 pounds of skin and 2.5 liters of fat from each flank.
recovery sucks!! It is different for every person but I am miserable! Boobs don't hurt at all they just feel HUGE!! I never wanted huge boobs just some . My tummy incision does not hurt. Dr. Gill removed 8 pounds of tissue and 2 litters from each flank. I think it is the lipo and muscle repair that hurts the most. Dr. Gill said I had a 3 inch seperation. Drains are a mess. I have one that leaks all the time so everytime I go to the bathroom I have blood everywhere which freaks out my kids.
On a good note, it has to get better right? I do feel a little bit stronger each day. It just takes so long to feel normal!!
I am in the Houston area and so far I love my doctor. My surgery is scheduled for September 17. I went in for 2 consults with Dr. Paul Gill. After the first consult I paid my deposit and scheduled my surgery. Then got home and started reading on here and making a list of questions. I went back in a week later and he was absolutely wonderful. He answered all my questions. I go in on Tuesday September 11 for my pre-op....check my review for information on my recovery...Good luck
Acid reflux got really bad. It did not matter what I ate or what meds I took. And when I laid flat at night, I had horrible pain. I could not keep food down...And I started to gain weight.
Hello... It is great to finally see someone from "home" on here. I moved from Lafayette to Houston about 5 years ago and miss home so much some days. We are the same weight and same age except I am 5'2" .
Congratss on the weight lost. I know that is so hard. I lost about 80 pounds. My surgery is on September 24 so I will keep you posted on what to expect as I go thru it. Others have recommended the recliner so I got one to sleep in for the first couple of days. Also, start looking at sodium intake. That is going to be a huge deal after surgery...salt = swollen. A toilet seat riser also appears to be something that everyone recommends! I am definitely doing the implants with my lift but my current cup size is an A. Look at others pics and see what they have done. It might give you an idea of what you can expect.
