Hi Hun, primark sell some fab compression undies, you need a size bigger though & they also sell long vest tops that are also quite fitted for £2.00! Again they are very small sizes, I bought 3 in a size 18 & they are ace for wearing under the binder. I have slowly weaned off the binder & just wear it when my back wrecks. Usually for ironing! Hang on in there! Xx

Sarah, pack some big knickers, you tuck ur drains in them once your support stockings come off. You wear 2 pairs & drains sit between them! Or take surg tape so u can tape them to your thighs. Great look!

You stay in gown til u leave. Take something comfy to get dressed into. You will wake up in your binder as well. When u see Adam he asks you to show him your belly while standing in front of him. He squeezed & felt all my fat.. Yuk. Then you pay at the desk & when you go through to ur room & after ur shower Adam comes back with his felt tips & draws you up& takes his pictures. I took my camera as well & took my own set at this point. You can ask him more q's at this point but it all happens v fast & I think it is all decided from your original emailed pics. He is not a small-talker but I did trust him & let him just get on with it! Your taxi is ready for you the following morning as soon as Adam has popped in to check on you. Everything is conducted with military procision & it works! I also thought my surgery wouldn't happen but it's not inhis best interests to send you home unhappy. You may be wishing he did next week! Ha ha! Sorry. Xx

I'm sore!! Also must be a bit doped up coz for the life of me I can't find the button to 'up-date' Monday went well, I was first in, - a little bit rushed and as my other half voiced, -'a bit like a cattle market..' Hey, thats not what I wanted to hear as they ordered me to strip and Adam drew me up. I think a little of the problem is that there is no mincing of words with the Poles, they say it how it is, and lets get on with it, chop-chop! The clinic is lovely, modern, lots of chrome and marbled floors and glass doors, we were asked to adorne blue over-shoe bags before we went through to my room. This was the best bit for me, the face on my significant-other, priceless. Picture a 6ft tall, 4ft wide, bald black man, built like the proverbial s>#* house, trying to put these powder blue slippers on... Ace! Adam came almost straight away & drew on me, grabbing plenty of fat & saying god knows what to his female colleague. She would be assisting him in theatre.( I had already met Adam briefly & had paid the bill before I went through to the room) I was to share with another lady who would be arriving later in the day. Before I knew it I was in theatre, one arm getting antibiotics & anti sickness & the other had a cuff on for Bp. Adam had explained that he prefers to use IV sedation over full blown GA, no breathing tube or intubation, less post op sickness & less risk all round. Suits me, & before I know it i'm awake & in pain in my room. After a shot in the bum I am able to get up for a wee, bent over like an old woman, & very slow, the second time was not so good. Red hot burning agony, & I want to be sick- I'm sweating profusely & delirious. Another rush for the nurse & she gets me some anti sickness tabs. It was like this all night really, an hour or so in a semi sleep, then up for a wee. The nurse put up fluids as my Bp had fallen alarmingly to 86/50. Then Adam arrived at 9am, had a brief chat & inspected his handiwork,- I tried to get a look in but just went green and sweaty again! Tues was awful, much like Monday at the clinic, soooo glad I had help, our apt had two big beds but they were very low so you can imagine how difficult it was to get up and standing! Today I am better, still sore but able to shuffle around. No shopping & no stamina at all, just want to sleep! Pics to follow when I get home. I'm back at the clinic first thing then may attempt a little mooch around the shopping mal.
