Misslcp1 - I just turned 51 in July. I've been to 4 plastic surgeons in the Houston area searching for a solution to the jowl/neck issue (we have the exact same issue). After considering the surgery ($30k) for the best dr in town, I got freaked out by the idea of being cut and thinking about having todo it again as I age (all of the drs I went to said because we continue to age & since we're so young, we will need additional "tweaks").
So, I've been considering Ultherapy for a temporary fix. I want to thank you so much for posting your story, progress and photo's. I do see a big difference in your jowls for sure - I see a lift and a much smoother transition between your neck and jowls. I definitely see an improvement. I think it is a great alternative to surgery for women our age. Surgery is a big decision and it changes you forever permanently (for better or worse). You will always be different/altered and you can't cover up your face.
I used to live in Danville- moved to Houston 4 yrs ago. Locally, the cost for Ultherapy is $3,200 for the full face done by the MD. I am likely going to choose this option along with keeping up with the restylane (lips) and botox (forehead & crows feet areas). I think ultimately I will have a full facelift, brow lift, neck lift, etc.
