    I'm very surprised that you had a negative experience with Dr. Johnson. I have seen him also (for Smartlipo and Dysport) and he has always been caring, informative, and patient on every occasion that I've seen him. I also love Lisa and Kayla and the other there who work there! Could you post some after pictures? It's hard to get an idea of the results with the bruising...

    Mine was lumpy AND swollen... Haha, I was regretting my decision to go through with it for about four days! But after wearing my compression garment, everything evened-out. Good luck with your results!

    Thanks for the comments everyone! This website was really helpful to me before my procedure and I'm happy to share my experience and pictures (the most helpful!)... Though I mentioned it previously, I should emphasize that on Day 2 I had an enormous amount of swelling in my pubic area and was really depressed. I barely fit in my pants! Anyway, my Dr. reminded me to be patient... I'm happy to be almost finished with the healing process! I hope everyone's swelling and bruising is subsiding! Good luck with your results! :)

    Well, redsoxgirl1970, I wasn't coherent for my procedure, so I didn't have to endure the "numbing" process... The Arnica gel and pill are a great idea! I bruise terribly and I only had one area that bruised. :) Good luck with your procedure! Lyns: I am feeling much better now! And the saying, "It's going to get worse before it gets better" applies to my recovery. About a week after my surgery, my stomach was very tender and it hurt to bend/move. Now I'm almost completely back to normal with the exception of the mild numbness.

    Wow amonson! 15 pounds?! That's amazing... Could you tell me how many cc's your doctor took out, if you know? I have a follow-up appointment this afternoon and I'm going to ask my doctor how much she took out.
