Concerns Regarding Yag Laser Resurfacing - Florida

Nerja1, good to hear from you! I thought perhaps you had a set back or some complications when you stop updating your status. I am sorry to hear some of your old health issues are resurfacing. However, it sounds like you are on the right track trying to figure what step to take next. I am thrilled that you are still happy with your decision that you had your implants removed. I have not booked my surgery yet, hopefully the first of the spring. The holidays have been non stop for me and things should settle down soon. Nerja1, I am so very happy for you! You look absolutely wonderful and even from your comments you sound like you are feeling better mentally. I want to apologize for not getting back with you, you sent me a message a while back and I could not respond because my computer crashed. However, you were in my thought and prayers during that time. You ask me if I ever saw Dr. K. in Miami. I canceled the appointment after waiting for months to get in to see him. At the last minute I had a gut feeling about the fat transfer and the fact that I would have to have lipo, so I decide not to go that route. Also, there can be complications and I did not want to put myself through anymore danger. I decided to have them removed and "maybe" a slight lift, as you have done. I am still on the fence about the lift because I was told by two doctors that they had concerns about the blood supply due to the multiple surgeries. However you have given me the courage and inspiration to go ahead and make a decision and get it over with. I feel so sorry for all those women/girls that are getting implant for the first time. It's the beginning of a long journey, not to mention the expense and health issues. What they don't know is eventually they "WILL" have complications. Just got back from vacation and could not wait to check on you. I am so delighted that everything went well. I can not believe how great your boobies looks. They look so much better than those big old implants (natural). Don't forget as the pocket closes the skin is going to shrink and the final results will be even better. I am so excited to get mine out. You have been such an inspiration to so many. Please keep us posted as to how you are progressing. Hugs, xxx

Hi Nerja1, I am so happy that you found a surgeon you feel comfortable with. I've had three consultations and each one has a different way of doing their procedures. It is very confusing and it is so hard to know which route to take. However, this doctor seems to be well qualified, especially being a breast oncologist. I have not seen Dr. K in Miami, but will keep posted. Good luck! S
