So sorry you had this experience. As someone looking in from the outside, it's difficult to offer any advice, but I would say a combination of things have gone wrong here. I used Retin-A for years with no adverse effects except redness at first. But I was in my forties when I used it. I stayed out of the sun altogether. I used it for wrinkles only and I used it every night. Toner is harsh, mostly alcohol, so I never use it. The doctors where I work have done the largest cohort study ever done on vitamin D and don't believe in sunscreen. Keep a light tan, don't burn - be natural. My daughter had a few capillaries showing and we got those layered off. Just do it. You'll feel better. Get a milder face soap - one that balances and compliments the natural pH of the skin. Stop with the toner. Get a mild whipped vitamin E for your face. You can wear it day or night. Stop with the sunscreen. Wear a hat and glasses in the sun. Get a good skin vitamin and take it every day. Don't drink alcohol. Drink lots of water. Get plenty of fresh air. Get good rest. Let yourself heal. Be kind to yourself. You sound very
regimented and a bit OCD - I don't mean that in a bad way. Just let yourself be a little lighter and freer. Thank you for warning us about your experience. I hope ypu will feel better soon! :-)
