Grrr.. hate when I hit the wrong key. Anyway, worried the blood problems might delay or even cancel the surgery. I am sure I will have details tomorrow. Again you look great. K

AE: you are looking good. Hope mine turns out even half as well. My last visit with the doctor is this afternoon. Because of this group my list of questions has grown long. Had all my labs done on Friday. I have an extremely odd blood problem on top of the medical issues. I have antibodies to some normal components in my blood. If i have some excessive bleed in during surgery I could have a big problem. So the doctor decided to get a type and cross match to be on the date side. The hospitals blood bank did the draw and found even more antibodies so I was back to the lab today to give more blood. It all went to Portland today for more studies. Now worried the blood problem will cause probled

Thanks for your reply. I have my first week covered but hoping I don't need too much help after the first week. My husband will be around but his schedule is always crazy during the first few weeks of a new school year. I was originally thinking this would happen in August but the surgeons schedule was booked. Our house is single level and our master bath is huge. The shower has built in seats and a couple of hand held sprayers making a shower easier than most. I probably won't drive quickly, although my car is small and easy to slip into but it his a five speed, with clutch which might be painful to zip through the gears. I think I will count on my friend to stay at least a week and count on calling a kid or neighbor if something comes up later. I think I must be starting the nesting thing. I keep looking around the house and notice something else I should get done before I am down for awhile. Hope the drains are out tomorrow!

AE: Keep up the good work. Are you still needing someone with you 24/7 or can you manage all your personal care on your own? I have it arranged to have someone with me for at least a week. I have 4 daughters but all are either on their own or finishing college. I love my privacy and will make it a priority to be up and moving so I don't have to depend on others. How long will it be until you can drive?
