Yes, weird enough. I cant really explain it, but it did. It still feels like a prosthetic nose though.

Ok so im just one month post surgery. I had similar things done. He didnt warn me that a columellar strut graft would make the tip of my nose rock hard....it feels like my nose is made of wood. I have been searching to find answers and most say it will soften 'a bit'....that scares me to death as it is really hard and feels creepy. I had no idea that would be the case. If so i seriously would have had second thoughts. A columellar strut graft is when they use your own cartilage to put up along the columella and into the tip to support it. My nose looks cuter from the profile now butnot as nice from the front as before. I am regretting it as it feels so fake/ hard. If it doesnt soften a conseridable amount then this will not have been worth it. If anyone can share their experience with a strut graft softening please tell me.

to me you look gorgeous...i know we become super analytical of our post op noses...you are probably seeing things that I am not zooming in on...but your profile looks really nice.

Actually if you look a little more on this site you will find hundreds of questions from people who are freaking out about their decisions after having gone through with it and getting results that were not what they thought. Lots of scared people like myself looking for answers to post-rhinoplasty concerns.
