Hi Jacquie! I am wearing a bali sports bra comfort revolution during the day and at night I have been wearing the surgical bra I was sent home with. I cut off the straps and found it was more comfortable to sleep in than the sports bra. I feel like now I am more swollen than I ever been. I don't know if it is because I am doing more. I'm ok with the sports bra it is just I like the way my breasts look better in a regular bra but wearing one hurts my incisions. I think I may try the one you are wearling at JCPennys. I've tried on so many bras. Thank you for your advice. I hope you are doing very well.
I'm 11 days post-op today. I went to my first social affair since having surgery. I felt better than I thought I would. I was really swollen by the time I got home. My sports bra felt so tight. Overall a good experience. Heading back to work tomorrow. Approximately how many weeks can you start wearing a regular bra and not be uncomfortable? I sure would appreciate hearing from those that are ahead of me. Thanks.
ggnomore,
Congratulations on being 1 day post op. I know I felt very relieved after my surgery was over. I felt the same way about looking at myself. It is hard at first, but you do get comfortable with it. Just concentrate on healing. As far as the ice is concerned, my doctor didn't tell me I could use ice, so I didn't. I'm not sure if you can. I would call the doctor before doing it. Feel better.
