Good luck Lesh - I am about your size - 5'4" and 147 lbs..I was a 36DDD and had BR surgery in Oct. I had shoulder pain for about a year and have not had a pain since I had my surgery. I am about a full 36B-36C and love it! I am very active so I am enjoying jogging now :) My surgery was so easy...I was a nervous wreck since this was my first surgery ever but it was nothing..really...I had very little pain if you can even call it that..slight burning under my breast for a day..I was walking 2 miles on the 3rd day. I hope your surgery goes as well as mine. Will be thinking of you!

I felt the same as you and worried about the same things!!! And it was all for nothing. My BR was my first surgery and I am 48 YO..It was a piece of cake for me. I had drains for the first 4 days and the only thing I could feel was a little tugging at my skin. They didn't hurt at all. Try not to worry :) The relief is great..I actually jog now!! I will be thinking of you!! Good luck.

You will love being smaller! I was a 36DDD and am about a C now and I LOVE it. I only wished I did this before I got married so I could have worn a 'normal' dress for my wedding! I certainly relate to OneTallLady!

I think you will be very happy with your results!!! I am 6 weeks PO and looked similiar to your size beforehand. I love how small I am! I certainly understand your comment about finding a wedding dress and ending up with tears. I wish I would have had my surgery done before my wedding cause I was in tears since almost everything is strapless and I could never go strapless before!! Hope your recovery goes well. Mine was very easy, although I have little 'pimples' right now that weep. Didn't get these until 5 weeks PO. My Dr. said some peoples body react to the stitches while they dissolve. Ohter than that, my scars look pretty good.

Hi everyone, I'm 4 weeks post op and the nurse told me I can start doing scar massages and using lotion or oil. Has anyoine else been told this? I'm not sure how long to massage, etc...My scars underneath my breasts seem to be tender when I massage and the scar tissue is hard and a little knotty. Is anyone else doing massages?
