My hubby was in the exact same boat your hubby was in. He was soooo against me getting this surgery. Afterwards, he said my body was beautiful before and it is beautiful now too...just make sure I buy longer dresses lol. Dr.Salama is good at what he does, and if I had to do it all over again, I would. It brings on a whole new sense of confidence and motivation to keep your body looking good. Realistically, you need way more than 2 weeks off of work, trust me. I had 5 and I almost wasnt ready to go back. Also, prepare yourself for any complications/infections you may have so if they do exist you are able to mentally and emotionally handle it. I had to get a butt biopsy at week 5 due to an allergic reaction and wanted to make sure it wasn't an infection and thank God it wasnt, but that was more $ out of my pocket. Best wishes.

Very little was reabsorbed for me. I lost less than one inch once the swelling went down...prob 10%-20% max reabsorbed for me.
