When stitches split they cause irritation on scar. I still have pulling and tugging down below at nearly 18 weeks I guess it is still healing x x

I swell more in the upper abs too 18 weeks post op Monday my PS said this is common x x

Try and keep you mid section as straight as possible no twisting bending or reaching. Skin has to adhere back to muscle and by keeping it straight PS nurse told me seromas can be prevented. Rest loads the first 2-3 weeks as your body has loads of healing. Keep binder on 24/7 for as long as you can. I love my boobies too lol. My swelling has gone down even more since piccies but I am 18 weeks this Monday and for me swelling was a real pain. Hope you have a smooth recovery x x

You may need to put binder on ladies I ditched mine and ended up wearing it until 14 weeks post op due to swelling. I would not worry about upper abs still loads of healing. You look fab to me x x
