I don't think it will work like they say. I have ordered one and I am 40 but I have young looking skin anyway. My Grandmom looked 60 in her 80's ! And my Mom still looks amazing. But, I work for a plastic surgeon. Truthfully, creams, lifts in a jar, and home mechanical devices just don't give results like a Dr can. Most of these stars and people that advertise things like the Derma Wand have had things like Botox, Fraxel Laser, fillers and peels. Home items are ok to maintain but if you want to turn the clock back, more invasive procedures are really the only way. The high end creams with their promises of penetrating skin, really don't do anything but hydrate. The molecules of active ingredients are too big to penetrate to the layers where they need to go. You can get hydration from much more inexpensive creams and lotions. But the best way to help your skin in to hydrate by moisturizing, drinking plenty of water, avoiding the sun by wearing block, not smoking, exercise, good diet and getting a good night's sleep. And if you want to really turn back time, the procedures in a plastic surgeon's or dermatologist are the way to go.
Too true. No cosmetic product penetrates the skin enough to alter the deeper layers that form wrinkles. The skin may look and appear more moisturized but you can get that from drinking plenty of water and hydrating your skin with a drug store cream or moisturizer. Unfortunately, the only things that do work are invasive procedures such as peels, lasers, Botox, fillers and lifts.
