I've never heard of minocycline. I'll look it up. I used to use Differin, but it stopped working after around 5 years of use. It worked pretty well prior to that. I'm not sure if I have thick skin, how can I tell? Right now I'm thinking I have Rosacea, which can cause acne. I'm going to try some treatments for Rosacea along with the Retin-A and see how that goes. Thanks for your help!!

Thanks so much for you sweet response! I appreciate your candid and honest commentary. I did end up getting implants to months ago. I'm really happy with them. I do think that (God willing I have the money) I will remove the implants when I'm around your age or perhaps a bit older and try fat grafting. I will continue to follow news about the procedure and I'm hoping it becomes more common and studied in years to come :) Best of luck to you, thanks again!

Hi there, I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience with your implants. I did end up getting implants a couple of months ago and I have not had one problem so far. Honestly, before surgery my asymmetry was very obvious, there was no way someone who saw my breasts could not notice it. My own gynecologist referred me to a plastic surgeon. 2 months post-op, my areola are not much stretched, my boobs are squishy and bouncy (and EVEN!), and I am really happy with my decision. Of course, I could develop a complication at any point, but I don't think I would regret my decision even in that instance. I spent a lot of time looking at breast explant photos pre-op and I have to say, no one looked terrible post-op. If I ever need to explant I don't think it would bother me to be a bit saggy etc, because I at least tried to fix my asymmetry and it would bother me forever never to make that attempt. Also, don't give anything to trade places with anyone! Love yourself and do what's best for you. It pains me to hear you say you'd want to trade places. Life is a precious commodity, don't waste it feeling sorry for yourself. I'm sure you're an awesome person! Does insurance cover an explant? Or maybe you could try using something like CareCredit to finance it? Anyway, best of luck to you.

Lia, you posted on my fat transfer review, so I came and read your story. You are a very strong and beautiful woman and I wish you all the best. Btw, I think you look lovely after removal. (And as an aside, you have a very pretty skin tone!)
